I'll never forget the first time I saw Santa Claus. I was sitting in the backseat of my parents' car, and we were passing by the mall. People were standing on a line waiting for their chance to have their photo taken with him. The line was long and wrapped around the corner. Some people had to wait for hours before it was their turn. But that didn't bother them one bit; they seemed to be very content in chatting with one another or reading a book while they waited. I was sitting there watching everything, when all of a sudden, I saw my father motion to the photographer. I was confused. Why did my dad need to be in that picture with Santa?
"Hurry up! The kids are getting impatient," my mother shouted.
I looked at her, puzzled, and then back to Santa. He had a big smile on his face as he stood there with his elves and reindeer nearby. His red suit was clean and ready for immediate action.
